Since being founded in 1942 by John Farren-Price, the name J Farren-Price has been synonymous with retailing of luxury watches and exquisite jewellery. <br /><br />Our highly valued partnership with Rolex dates back to 1950, making us the longest serving Rolex retailer in Australia.

Second generation and current owner, Julian Farren-Price has been working in the company since 1989 and continues to maintain the standards set by his parents. The heritage of the business is of utmost importance, with quality of service and maintaining long-term personal relationships with clientele, key priorities. Our J Farren- Price sales team have been with the company for many years, ensuring consistency of service and expertise. Iconic location - 80 Castlereagh Street Sydney
In 1975 when Krysten Farren-Price opened a small 80 meter squared boutique at St James Centre, 80 Castlereagh Street Sydney she would have never dreamed that nearly 50 years later we would still be retailing from the same location.
J Farren-Price has become an iconic shopping destination in Sydney. Over the decades it has expanded to become a 450 meter squared luxury boutique spanning two levels. It is within this one location we display a range of watches and jewellery second to none in Australia.
80th Anniversary
2022 marked the 80th Anniversary for J Farren-Price and since 1950 we have been the official retailer for Rolex, making our family-owned business the longest standing Rolex retailer currently in Australia. Since the beginning Rolex and J Farren-Price have had a close relationship with an unwavering commitment to quality and excellence, providing all customers with a luxurious experience which is second to none.
Our Legacy
Pictured is eponymous Rolex Founder Mr. Hans Wilsdorf with J Farren-Price founder and watchmaker John Farren-Price, father of today’s Managing Director, Julian. This wonderful piece of photographic history pictures both businessmen discussing their passion for watches at the Rolex headquarters in Geneva circa 1950. A brief moment in time capturing the early beginnings of a cherished and respected partnership.
