Ken is a Watchmaker at J Farren-Price, bringing more than forty-five years of experience in horology and a lifelong dedication to precision craftsmanship. He joined the service centre in January 2023 following the closure of the Rolex Service Centre in Sydney, continuing a distinguished career built on technical expertise and a deep respect for traditional watchmaking.
Ken began his journey straight out of high school, undertaking a four-year apprenticeship that established the foundations of his craft. Over decades in the industry, he has developed extensive experience working with fine timepieces, with particular enjoyment found in the intricate detail and problem-solving inherent to watch servicing and repair.
His approach centres on restoring each watch to optimal function while aligning closely with client expectations, treating every timepiece as a valued and personal possession. Ken believes luxury watches represent uncompromised quality — not only in mechanics, but in design, materials, and enduring craftsmanship — and finds the greatest reward in delivering results that exceed a client’s expectations.
Outside the workshop, Ken enjoys hiking, fine woodworking and cabinet making, as well as house renovation projects, pursuits that reflect the same patience, precision, and appreciation for craftsmanship that define his work as a watchmaker.
