ZERO CHILDHOOD CANCER PROGRAM UPDATE - FEBRUARY 2024 NEWS

For many years, J Farren-Price has proudly supported the Children’s Cancer Institute and their world leading precision medicine program; the Zero Childhood Cancer Program (ZERO). Since the beginning of our partnership, J Farren-Price and our wonderful clients have donated $2.9 million to this important program.

ZERO Cancer Update

Recently, the Children’s Cancer Institute has updated us with some excellent news regarding their ZERO program, which we are honoured to share with you. Thanks to donations received in the past year, many incredible achievements have been possible in the work towards curing childhood cancer.

Precision medicine has now officially been brought to all children with cancer. Funds raised for ZERO have also allowed researchers to harness the immune system in the fight against cancer. These funds have allowed researchers to conduct the first-ever comprehensive analysis of what is known as the ‘tumour microenvironment’ in children with cancer.

Over the past year, donations to ZERO have also helped provide the program with important insights into the value of drug screening for childhood cancers. Furthermore, the program is paving the way to the Minderoo Children’s Comprehensive Cancer Centre. This centre will be globally leading with positive impact for children with cancer in Australia and internationally.

We would like to extend our gratitude to every single individual who has contributed towards this meaningful cause. As evidenced by these fantastic updates, donations to this important program go a long way in changing the lives of children and their families.
