ZERO CHILDHOOD CANCER DIAMOND BALL FUNDRAISER - AUGUST 2022 NEWS
J Farren-Price for many years has proudly supported The Diamond Ball which raises valuable funds for Children’s Cancer Institute and their world leading precision medicine program; the Zero Childhood Cancer Program (ZERO).
Nothing can be as precious as the life of a child.
Over 800 children with high risk and rare cancers have been enrolled across Australia since the ZERO national clinical trial commenced in 2017. By the end of 2023, the goal is that all children diagnosed with cancer in Australia have access to ZERO.
Involving all paediatric oncology units across Australia, as well as 22 national and international research partners, ZERO is the strongest possible combination of medicine, technology, research and dedicated people. It is giving hope to children with the most aggressive cancers who have little or no treatment options. Watch Thomas’s miraculous recovery story here.
For the 2nd year running, J Farren-Price is the official sponsor of the event and are donating a beautiful Picchiotti diamond necklace worth $68,000 to help raise funds.
Over the past few years ZERO has received incredible support from our valuable clients who as a group have contributed over $1 million towards vital research. I am eternally thankful for their sharing of this vision to be able to treat 100% of childhood cancer.
Should you be interested to learn more about ZERO please visit their website. Even better if you feel inspired, maybe give them a tax deductible donation to the below:

Louise Barrett, Relationship Manager at the Children’s Cancer Institute (LBarrett@ccia.org.au) is always happy to discuss ZERO with you and we have also found some of our super clients have supported the event by donation of product/services for auction.
We all need to share our success with those who are suffering. Remember the old adage “there but for the grace of God go I”.
I hope to report back on the fundraising result at The Diamond Ball, which is happening on 10th September and once again life saving funds will be raised.
