In 1989, Italian designer Sandro Colarieti decided to evolve the cases he created to store his watches by producing a small series of watch winders for himself and his friends. His objective: 'simulate the natural movements of the wrist' to maintain his watches and 'keep them on time'.
As a great Patek Philippe watch collector, he presented his invention to the famous watchmaking house in 1990, which decided, after a year of testing, to order 500 watch winders. Fast forward to 2022 and we present a number of new Scatola Del Tempo arrivals, across watch winders and watch cases.
We have received several new watch winders from the Rotor One collection
, a range that prides itself in producing the perfect compact watch winder. The Rotor One
watch winders come in seven different colours, each with a soft touch leather finish on the exterior. All winders integrate a Swiss Made mechanism, perfect for watch lovers who want to invest in a preserving their collection through time.
Watch cases are essential for the safe storage of your timepieces, both in every day life and while travelling (now that we can again!). The below new Pochette watch case carries up to four watches and neatly present in grey and orange leather colour combination
. Apart from being a practical purchase for any watch enthusiast, this four watch case also makes for the perfect gift.
If you're looking to store a few more timepieces, an excellent option is the Valigetta eight watches case
in grey and orange. This stylish luxury watch case will house up to eight watches, both strap and bracelet models. The Valigetta case comes with a leather handle, a practical touch that makes this case very convenient and easy for travelling.
