This month we share the story of one adventurous young couple who came to J Farren-Price to have their engagement and weddings rings designed and custom made.
Before they got engaged, Jessica and Andrew decided to take off on a grand adventure spending six months travelling around Australia.
Spending the last week of their trip in the beautiful Daintree Rainforest, Queensland Andrew proposed and Jessica said 'I do' while hiking deep in a secluded rain forest! The pair had been planning to get engaged for some time and worked with our designer Niki to create the perfect engagement ring for Jessica as well as their wedding bands later down the track.
The pretty engagement ring features a 0.75ct round brilliant cut F colour diamond, set in 18ct white and rose gold with a halo of round brilliant cut diamonds totalling 0.16ct.
Jessica and Andrew got married with a stunning twilight reception in the Royal National Park at Audley Weir.
It was around the same time of the terrible NSW fires were travelling at speed through Australia in 2019. The week after their wedding, the National Park was shut down from the dangerous fires and three months later, Covid-19 began so this couple had luck on their side time wise.
More recently Jessica and Andrew have welcomed into the world their first baby, named Walter, pictured below.
