These updated versions retain the spirit of the original watch. The new 42mm watches have a few updated technical features, such as a case-shaped sapphire crystal, two screw-down crowns, and a screw-down caseback. They are water-resistant up to 300 meters and feature an automatic movement with a silicium balance spring, manufactured exclusively for Longines.

Available in blue or brown, the dial features luminous hands, interspersed hour markers, and Arabic numerals enhanced with Super-LumiNova rectangles.

 LONGINES AVIATION BIG EYE

Throughout its long history, Longines has created pieces that have stood the test of time. A re-issue of a chronograph with a 1930s’ design, The Longines Avigation BigEye is now available in titanium with a petrol blue dial. This timepiece – characterised by the visibility of its dial and its oversized 30-minute counter – joins the great tradition of pilot watches. Driven by an exclusive chronograph movement fitted with a silicon balance-spring, this new model also comes with a 5-year warranty.

LONGINES HYDROCONQUEST MODELS

The new Longines HydroConquest watches come in dial options of blue, black or grey – each in a sunray finish – and a matte green option.

The date taking residence at 3 o’clock on the dial takes the place of the Arabic numeral, leaving the remaining 12, 6 and 9 o’clock numerals to retain a sense of balance across the dial. The large hands are also treated in gold colour and filled with Super-LumiNova with a green glow in dark conditions.

It also comes with a silicon balance-spring to protect against magnetic forces and beats at a rhythm of 25,200 vibrations per hour.
