Description

This 18K pink gold watch houses within its bold tonneau-shaped case the most poetic of complications: the precision moon phase. Accurate over 122 years, it is finished off with the power reserve display in the extension of its crescent moon. From an astronomical point of view, the lunar cycle lasts 29 days, 12 hours, 44 minutes and 2.8 seconds. The precision moon phase reproduces the real cycle of the earth's satellite, with a cycle of 29 days, 12 hours and 45 minutes. This makes for a difference of one day in every 122 years. In comparison, simple moon phases require adjustment every 3 years. The power reserve indicator displays the remaining operating time of the watch without reloading the spring. Once the power reserve has run out, the mechanism stops. Winding up your watch is a real ritual, a tender moment in which time seems manageable.
